What kind of city am I?

 Tfhthffffhtththffff……

Okay, forget it… I was trying to post one of those silly quizzes that tell you what kind of flower you would be, or what Jane Austen character you could be or in this case what ‘American City’ you are– but obviously it didn’t work.  Phooey.. I guess I’ll have to do a bit more reading on how to post stuff the right way.  I hate reading technical stuff– I’d rather someone come in, sit at my computer and just show me.   I’m a hands on learner..  oh well..

Speaking of learning, one of the main purposes of this blog is to catalog our learning here in the home, so I guess I will focus more on that than posting silly quiz results.  My next assignment for me then is to figure out how to post pictures and put up the amazon links of books in my side bar.  I’ve been fooling around a  bit with the whole widget thing.. but again that too requires reading on my part and not just random clicking in hopes of stumbling across the right way…<sigh>

Well, when pasting code like quizzes in an entry, click the “code” button first. It’s right there between the entry title and the big text box. :D

I’d come over and show you if I could. I’d rather point that type it out. :D

For pictures, the upload area is right under the entry bit, and when you do it, there will be a “send to editor” button that plunks it in your entry.

Thanks Andrea! I’ll have to try it again soon. I thought I had used the “code” thing, but when I viewed my entry, it all came out jibberish. I must not have done it right..
